answers to most
commonly asked questions:
1. how do I get the results from your servers?
A: we have lots of formats, the most common one used is an XML format. You
can view a sample XML result here

2. can I expect good results & almost zero spam
links in the results & 404s?
A: Our APIs give the most relevant results out there with almost Zero 404s
and spam links. Do a test run for yourself on the demo site (http://www.search2care.com
)
and compare it yourself
3. can you guarantee uptime for the feeds?
A: The uptime for the API feeds would be 100%. It will be only down in the
event the whole Internet is down. We have heavily invested in creating a
global redundant infrastructure (the Dhoondho Global
GRID) All queries would reach our servers in a maximum of 2 hops. Our
Data Farms are one of the best money can buy
4. are updates FREE of charge?
A: Yes! they are completely FREE & we keep innovating
releasing updates to the API almost every month. we want you to be proud
that you have the best technology backing you.
5. is there is a revenue share (between Dhoondho/me) specific to Ad placement on my own site?
A: All Ad revenue is yours. We want our clients to earn
more and be successful. We not only help them getting a head-start by
using our APIs but also keep advising them wherever & whenever we can
(based on our experience in the field) When you query our API we will send
you the results in your choice – Formatted HTML / XML / Array. You can use
either of these to display the results on your site. Full formatting
control. You can even change the ranking, Insert your own sites in
between. Limitless possibilities.
Topic of possible interest here:
We are coming up with our own AdSense like program(next month), which will
aggregate ads from various providers (and the ads that we already have)
and display them in order of the Highest CPC (So that you get the maximum
possible revenue out of your site) . You are free to choose either our Ad
program or any ad program of your choice. Our ad program is free to use,
but involved a small share (Just like Adsense or any other program). In
case you want to use a different ad program you are completely free to do
so. (But then you will be sharing revenue with that ad provider instead

6. Can and will the Ads be rendered top, bottom
and side of all search results?
A: Anywhere you want them. Technically, you can even
mix ads within results. The online advertising is a 8 billion dollar
industry. See the potential?
7. Since this will be my own search engine- how
can I work with your team to determine the weighting of results- and
basically what controls do I have over results that are provided within my
"own" engine?
A: You can have your own development Team (or outsource the work to us, we
can also set up a dedicated team for you that will maintain your site and
will be available 16hrsx6days a week) If you are planning a global search
engine, We also have our own hosting services that have world class
hosting facility (Dhoondho and many
other billion dollar + businesses run on our global infrastructure.)
Prices are very affordable too. Have a look here:
http://www.ClusteredGrid.com
)
The results will be returned to you as XML / Formatted HTML / PhP Array.
You have complete control. You can put the first result as the last one,
insert your own results. Almost anything. Full control over the order,
relevance, everything.
8: What other revenue opportunities will I have
with your search API?
A: You can even resell our APIs as your own API (you
will get a predetermined share, based on the volume of sale). People
buying APIs from you will be querying a Php script on your server, which
will query us at the backend. (But for your clients, it will be your
domain that they get results from – We would be completely hidden from
their view) To them you would be the provider. (you can even vary their
initial search results if you like (similar to us). But if they decide to
restructure their results, then it's totally up to them. They will have
the same control over the API, just as you have from us.
